Rolling through a landscape of green and yellow, I find myself feeling it again: Peace, solitude – the both of them somehow not contradicting each other. The truth is, I never wanted for this to happen. It just did. It started years ago when my father died, and I guess it all just ended this morning when I walked by that girl at Starbucks. My Bio

Hello, and welcome to my little corner of the world!

You may call me Dee. I have a passion for literature, and I love reading, writing, analyzing, and discussing it. I also like trees, tea, music, and great friends. I am in my midtwenties, and after five years at the university, I am now looking for a job and for ways to express myself.

I am also a rather queer Lesbian, and I have struggled to get to the point where I could say this openly to myself, my family, my friends, and my surroundings. I have been using my own experiences and the understanding I have gained from them to help others through their difficulties as LGBT/questioning people. I feel very honoured and blessed to have been given such opportunities and such trust.

So if you're questioning your sexual identity, gender identity or are struggling as an LGBT youth, please feel free to write me a note. I know what it's like to question your sexual identity and gender identity, and I know what it's like to be scared to be who you are.

I also see myself as very understanding and rather knowledgable when it comes to psychological struggles and mental illness. You can talk to me about anything, nothing could shock me. I strongly believe in compassion as a force that can help us out of our struggles. My greatest qualification as a helper is my willingness to listen and my capacity for compassion and empathy. And I have also been through many difficulties myself.

Sometimes we need to allow ourselves to focus on one part of our lives and temporarily push everything else aside. As long as we stay true to ourselves - that part should NEVER be pushed aside. :)
